Construction of a Beach Boys Song

Case in point, a lovely waltz, "Time To Get Alone," released in 1969 on a hodgepodge collection called 20/20. First we have rehearsals and vocal takes:

Then the eerie, gorgeous lead vocals and harmonies by Carl and Brian Wilson, respectively:

And then the finished version, with patented Brian Wilson production. The resounding "DEEP AND WIDE" is one of the favorite Brian Wilson production flourishes among Beach Boys aficionados.
