Network TV may be in the doldrums, but on a "slow" Monday night there's all kinds of good stuff to watch.
Of course, the intellectual elite will be watching the finale of The Bachelorette, but there are many other treats:
The most promising is the TV debut of Summercamp!, a film-festival favorite about a Wisconsin camp, mostly from the kids' point-of-view.
On HBO, at 9:00 p.m.,The Art of Failure: Chuck Connelly premieres. It's a story that occurs often but is seldom told: If you are an artist and want to be a success, it's a bad idea to alienate your agents and potential customers.
On Turner Classic Movie, at 8:00, film critic Elvis Mitchell: Under the Influence debuts with Mitchell talking to the late Sydney Pollack, followed by Tootsie and one of the films that influenced the director most, An American in Paris.
And No Reservations launches a new season. Anthony Bourdain visits Laos. 10:00 P.M.
