CD Pricing

The pricing of CDs never made much sense to me. Why do the big box retailers charge the lowest price for the most for current, in-demand titles, and the most for older and least desired titles? The new plan by Wal-Mart doesn't address the issue completely, but at least it attempts to lure consumers to buy older CDs with attractive pricing.
