Cashing Checks with the Stars

Few showbiz-oriented blogs break more stories than Nikki Finke in her Deadline Hollywood Daily. Even if she is a little smug about her accomplishments, at least she has something to crow about. Yesterday she linked to a list (originally compiled by CNN's Robert Yoon) of which presidential candidates are receiving money from which Hollywood celebrities.

Why are so man contributions in units of $2300?
