Feldman's Fearful Baseball Forecast
It has been a great baseball season, and I've seen little of the new TV season because I've been watching altogether too much baseball. Here are my predictions:
St. Louis over San Diego (On paper, this is the biggest mismatch. I think it will be a mismatch on the field, too).
Houston over Atlanta (Because of Houston's strong front-line starters, I assume that Houston will be the favorite in a short season. But I wouldn't be shocked if the very young Atlanta team pulls an upset, much as Florida did in winning its first World Series).
Boston over Chicago (Although if Matt Clement blows up, who knows?).
New York over Anaheim (Both teams closed strongly, but other than defense, it's hard to figure out any area where the Angels have a clear advantage).
I do have feelings about who will win it all, but I might as well wait so that my picks aren't out by the end of the week!
