Reality TV is Busting Out All Over
Almost every night this summer, a new reality show or three debuts.
Tonight, the high profile new kid on the block is David E. Kelley's The Law Firm, in which real lawyers try real cases and really get kicked off the show if they do a really bad job. Really.
If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, the Independent Film Channel is running the great documentary, Hoop Dreams, tonight.
And tonight at 8:00 P.M., ESPN covers my kind of sporting event -- the 2005 U.S. Open of Competitive Eating.
And at 9:00 P.M., programmed against The Law Firm, ABC's Hooking Up proves you don't need gimmicks to make a dating show interesting.
