For those of us that are bereft at the end of Manhunt: The Search For America's Most Gorgeous Male Model (which ended with the right man winning), we'll just have to content ourselves with the last few episodes of America's Next Top Model and a brand new offering from Bravo TV, Project Runway.
There's no way that P.R. could possibly have the camp quotient of Manhunt. Runway's host is Heidi Klum, while Manhunt featured the perpetually zonked-out Carmen Electra. Two of the executive producers of Runway are Bob and Harvey Weinstein, the folks who brought you Pulp Fiction and Shakespeare in Love. TV Guide critic Susan Stewart just gave Project Runway a rare 10 out of 10 on the rating scale. Will America be as interested in watching designers as models? We shall see.
Matt Roush, TV Guide's main critic, was just as enthusiastic about tonight's episode of Wife Swap, in which two husbands change places.
